Not Martial: Sarri And Chelsea Set To Agree Deal With Manchester United For A £100,000-a-week Highly Rated Star

Reports yesterday is claiming Chelsea’s former boss Jose Mourinho could be re-united with former player Gary Cahill when the window reopens in January as the player is plotting a move away from Chelsea.
Cahill is reportedly said not to be happy with playing life at Chelsea as he’s not guaranteed a place in the first-team with plenty of competition in the Blues’ ranks. Aside Cahill, who’s earning £100,000 per week at Chelsea, the Blues have the likes of David Luiz, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and loan returnee Kurt Zouma are all fighting for their place in Maurizio Sarri’s defence.
Elsewhere, if reports bears fruit though, the Blues are also looking to sign Sarri’s former player Daniele Rugani from Juventus, who’s very close to joining the Blues back in the summer while the likes of Jamaal Lascelles and Alessio Romagnoli are also a target for the west London club.
According to the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side are the leading favourites ot sign Cahill in January having been priced at 5/4 to bring Cahill to Old Trafford in the winter, with Wolves (3/1), West Ham (4/1), Everton (9/1) and Liverpool (11/1) the other likely destinations.
Gary Cahill with Chelsea so far, has won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, the League Cup and both Champions and Europa League trophies, and he’ll definitely go down as one of the Blues’ most accomplished players in history once his time at Stamford Bridge comes to an end.
