EPL: Chelsea set to sign Real Madrid Versatile midfielder
According to reports published by Don Balon media outlet, Chelsea are planning a winter transfer bid for Real Madrid midfielder, Marco Asensio.
Marco Asensio is seen as one of the best midfielders in the world, while some few giants club are on the radar of luring him out of the Santiago Bernabue.
The Los Blancos are now aware that they will need to attract the midfielder with a huge pay rise deal to keep him at Real Madrid.
Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri, wants Marco Asensio to play under him at Stamford bridge as Eden hazard future is still uncertain at the club.
Hazard was reportedly linked with a summer move to Real Madrid last month, but Chelsea failed to release the player since a summer replacement will be hard to get if the Belgian completes the deal to the Santiago Bernabue.
Also, further talks indicated that a swap deal could be possible between Chelsea and Real Madrid, while the Los Blancos could be set to release Asensio for Chelsea in place of Eden hazard.
Meanwhile, Eden hazard have already established himself under Maurizio Sarri’s team this season, and its yet to be seen if the West London club would take in with the contract swap deal involving the Belgian.
